The club achieves the runner-up position in the First Autonomous League, which allows it the historical promotion to the highest category of regional basketball, all this in the year of its tenth anniversary.<\/p>\n

Promotion to Primera Nacional in a flawless semifinal against the favorites<\/h3>\n

IMEFY Zone 5 Toledo got last Saturday May 17 the promotion to the First National Castilla-La Mancha after beating the leader of the regular season, Salesianos Electium Guadalajara, a team that started as a favorite. It was a game in which the team from Toledo was close to perfection and ended up winning with a resounding 61-91, giving way to a celebration with the numerous fans who traveled to Ciudad Real to support the team.<\/p>\n

Fight until the end for the championship of the First Autonomous Region<\/h3>\n

On Sunday 18, with promotion already assured, the final was played against the host, Marianistas. In a thrilling game that required an overtime, the Ciudad Real players finally won 75-69.<\/p>\n

Present at the awards ceremony were the deputy mayor of the Ciudad Real City Council, Gregorio Ora\u00e1; the president of the FBCLM, Jos\u00e9 Esteban G\u00e1lvez; the vice-president of the FBCLM, Alfonso Arr\u00e1ez; and the CEO of STM Multijuegos, Juan Jos\u00e9 S\u00e1nchez-Manjavacas. The award for Best Player of the Final Phase went to Jorge Rodrigo, of the Prado Marianistas Ciudad Real team.<\/p>\n

An exceptional season for a growing team<\/h3>\n

Thus, the Toledo club, founded in the Valpara\u00edso neighborhood in 2015, achieves a historic promotion in its second season with a senior team. This achievement adds to the fact of having been among the top four junior men’s teams in Castilla-La Mancha<\/a> and the qualification of its junior women’s U19 team for the Final Phase of its competition. A brilliant tenth anniversary year that consolidates the club’s philosophy: to train players and people.
