Following its promotion<\/a>, IMEFY ZONA 5 TOLEDO is now preparing for the preseason in Castilla-La Mancha’s Primera Nacional.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It promises to be a very exciting season, in which a group of ten teams from across Castilla-La Mancha will battle it out for two promotion spots to the entry level of Spanish professional basketball, the Tercera FEB.<\/strong><\/p>\n

IMEFY ZONA 5 TOLEDO rivals in Primera Nacional<\/h3>\n

The team will face:<\/p>\n

  • THE KRAKEN RADO PAKOLO<\/strong> (Almansa)<\/li>\n
  • EBA<\/strong> y EMPLEDIS ACADEMIA BALONCESTO<\/strong> (Albacete)<\/li>\n
  • GLOBALCAJA CUENCA<\/strong> (Cuenca)<\/li>\n
  • MOVIALSA QUALITYSPORT<\/strong> (Campo de Criptana)<\/li>\n
  • GRUPO 76-ALKASAR<\/strong> (Alc\u00e1zar de San Juan)<\/li>\n
  • BASKET CERVANTES<\/strong> y PRADO-MARIANISTRAS<\/strong> (Ciudad Real)<\/li>\n
  • BALONCESTO POL\u00cdGONO<\/strong> (Toledo)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    It is precisely against the latter that it will play two friendly warm-up matches in September.<\/p>\n

    Squad and coaching staff for the 2025\/2026 season<\/h3>\n

    The team retains both its technical staff, with \u00c1lvaro Zapata as coach and Miguel Alcaide as assistant coach, and last season’s squad, which has been joined by several players from the junior category: Odenis Randel Tavares, Oliver Garc\u00eda, Pablo D\u00edaz, and Rodrigo Garc\u00eda Calvo, the latter still in the junior category but who will play for both teams.<\/p>\n

    In addition, two new players have joined from outside the club: Luis S\u00e1nchez-Mayoral, a great forward with experience in the category, and H\u00e9ctor Valles, a promising young player from the Pablo Laso Academy.<\/p>\n
