IMEFY<\/strong> received an institutional visit from Nuria Aymerich,<\/strong> Special Commissioner for Industrial Competitiveness and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, at its facilities in Los Y\u00e9benes (Toledo).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This meeting was part of a series of visits organised to gain first-hand knowledge of the industrial fabric of Castilla-La Mancha.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The visit, which took place on 4 March, allowed the delegation to learn about IMEFY’s industrial activity<\/strong><\/a> in the field of electrical transformer manufacturing.<\/strong> It also served to analyse the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector in the current economic and industrial context.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning about IMEFY’s industrial activity and the role of regional industry<\/b><\/h3>\n

During the meeting, the institutional representatives toured the company’s<\/strong> facilities to learn first-hand about the production processes carried out at the Los Y\u00e9benes plant,<\/strong> one of the industrial centres specialising in the production of electrical transformers.<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views with the management team on issues related to industrial competitiveness, technological innovation and the role played<\/strong> by industrial companies in the economic and productive development of Castilla-La Mancha.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation was led by Nuria Aymerich,<\/strong> Special Commissioner for Industrial Competitiveness and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. She was accompanied by Raquel Alonso,<\/strong> Director of the Technical Office of the Special Commissioner for Industrial Competitiveness and SMEs, and Violeta Lupascu,<\/strong> Head of Industrial Promotion at the Castile-La Mancha Institute for Foreign Promotion (IPEX).<\/span><\/p>\n

Institutional collaboration to boost industrial competitiveness<\/b><\/h3>\n

These types of institutional visits help to strengthen dialogue between the public administration and the industrial sector,<\/strong> while facilitating greater understanding of the needs of companies and the opportunities that exist to boost the competitiveness of the productive fabric.<\/span><\/p>\n
