This contract stands out for both its volume and strategic relevance,<\/strong> as it marks the first time that the country\u2019s main utilities have joined forces to centralize the supply of this key equipment for their electricity distribution networks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each of these companies plays an essential role in Iceland\u2019s energy system:<\/strong><\/p>\n

RARIK<\/strong> operates as a public company<\/strong> responsible for a large part of electricity distribution in rural areas.<\/p>\n

Nor\u00f0urorka mainly operates in the north of the country,<\/strong> particularly in the Akureyri area, managing both electricity supply and other energy services.<\/p>\n
