IMEFY is born as a company dedicated to the manufacture of dielectric liquid immersed distribution transformers.

IMEFY begins manufacture cast resin transformers (CRT) which it pioneered in Spain.

IMEFY’s Quality Management System is ISO 9001-certified.

IMEFY achieves the ISO 14001 certificate for its Environmental Management System and becomes the first Spanish Company in its sector to achieve it.

IMEFY opens new facilities, with a surface area higher to 86,000 sqm; they were inaugurated by Mr. José Bono Martínez, the then President of the Regional Government of Castilla La Mancha.

IMEFY obtains the class E2, C2 and F1 Certificate, issued by the official independent laboratory CESI, for its cast resin transformers.

IMEFY sets up its Italian subsidiary IMEFY Spa, which specialised in the manufacture of cast resin transformers.

IMEFY starts the manufacture of power transformers with a capacity to produce transformers up to 160 MVA and 245 KV.

IMEFY manufactures its first 132 KV power transformer.

IMEFY founds IMEFY Polska Sp z.o.owhich is fully owned by IMEFY GROUP and has its HQ and own warehouse in Poland.

IMEFY installs a “Vapour Phase”power transformer drying unit at is Spanish factory.

IMEFY Italy manufactures its first 16 MVA cast resin power transformer.

IMEFY Spain inaugurates its new 1,600 sqm head offices.

IMEFY obtains AENOR’s N Certificate for its oil-immersed transformers.

IMEFY manufactures its first 220 kV transformador de potencia.

IMEFY wins the largest contract in its history for the supply of 2,204 units for the Algerian market.

IMEFY wins two public tenders in Poland to supply more than 2,500 transformers to PGE, the largest power generating company in the country.

IMEFY’s transformers get officially approval in Kazakhstan.

IMEFY obtains final official approval from the Brazilian Company CEB (Companhia Energética de Brasília).

IMEFY’s official approval of its transformers is renewed by the Libyan state-owned corporation GECOL.

IMEFY obtains the preliminary qualification for its 145 KV power transformers by Red Eléctrica de España.

IMEFY receives the Medal Of Regional Merit from the Regional Government of Castilla La Mancha.

IMEFY Polska supplies over 1,200 transformers to the main companies in the Polish electricity sector (Energa, Enea, PGE, Tauron…)

IMEFY transformers are installed in Texas, USA, by Acciona/Nordex.

IMEFY receives official approval and contract for its oil immersed and cast resin distribution transformers from EDF/ENEDIS.

IMEFY is officially approved by the most important state-owned companies in Egypt, EEHC and EETC.

The Town Council of Los Yebenes pays tribute to IMEFY’sfounders.

The Brazilian Company CEMIG, approves to IMEFY to supply cast resin, oil immersed and power transformers.

IMEFY is certified as a Qualified Supplier by EDP Renewables

IMEFY achieves “OSHAS Certificate ”for its Industrial health and safety management system.
