On September 23-25, a unique agrophotovoltaic industry event will take place at the Bednary airport near Poznań in Poland. It is an important moment for the development of this branch of energy, which is conducive to the decarbonisation process in the country and the development of the “energy mix”.
Agro Show
The International Agro Show Exhibition has been organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Agricultural Machines and Facilities since 1999. For many years, Agro Show has been perceived as a perfect place to present the newest and most modern machines and devices. Agro show is also a comprehensive exhibition, thanks to which participants coming to the Agro Show during the 3 days of the exhibition have the opportunity to see the complete offer of means of production and services for agriculture. They can also meet directly with representatives of all major institutions and agencies.
Agro Show is the largest open-air exhibition in Europe. 2018 was the 20th edition of the exhibition. The event has become a permanent fixture in the agricultural exhibition calendar and every year gathers all the leading national and global brands of machinery and equipment.
Among the exhibitors, over 100 are companies from abroad. The exhibition is visited by nearly 120,000 people each year.
Exponential growth of photovoltaics
According to the Polish Photovoltaic Association, the best solution to the problem of “shrinking” space for solar farms may be to combine agricultural crops and special panels in one area. Let us remind you that photovoltaics is on a strong wave of growth. Over the past year, the production of energy from micro-installations has tripled. At the end of 2020, 3.8 GW of connected capacities to the grid were recorded, thanks to which Poland was in the forefront of the EU countries connecting the most power to the grid. The increase in photovoltaics is mainly due to the fact that it is the most optimal solution for alternative energy sources in the process of decarbonising Poland.
This year, the energy industry will be represented by Imefy, EC Group, Energy 5, Kelfield-Polish Center of Agrofotovoltaics, Kompania Solarna and Huawei.
We encourage all our clients and people interested in the development of agrophotovoltaics to participate.
