IMEFY has signed a partnership agreement with the Toledo Association for People with Autism (APAT) with the aim of promoting awareness-raising initiatives and increasing the social visibility of autism.

The agreement, signed on 26 March in Toledo, was signed by the president of APAT, Sagrario Domínguez Alba, and the CEO of IMEFY, Eduardo Fontecha. This partnership builds on the relationship that both organisations have maintained for years and reinforces IMEFY’s commitment to its social environment.

Support for the leisure and free time programme

The collaboration will focus on supporting the leisure and free-time programme run by APAT, a key initiative to improve the quality of life of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

These kinds of activities not only promote inclusion, but also help to create spaces for social interaction and raise awareness within society, fostering a greater understanding of autism in real-life contexts.

Commitment to society and the environment

For IMEFY, this collaboration forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, which is based on creating value beyond its industrial activities.

Since its foundation in 1973 in Los Yébenes (Toledo), the company has maintained a firm commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, safety and people’s well-being, as well as to the social development of its local community.

Through initiatives such as this, IMEFY reinforces its involvement in projects that generate a positive impact and contribute to building a more inclusive society.
