The 36th edition of the International Energy Fair, ENERGETAB 2023, took place in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, from September 12 to 14. This annual event brought together 433 exhibitors from around the world, who made efforts to showcase their most novel and innovative products to a knowledge-hungry audience. The fair, which is the largest of its kind in Poland and Central Europe, was inaugurated by the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała, Jarosław Klimaszewski.

Challenges in the Polish Energy Sector

The event featured the presence of prominent guests of honor, including the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Grzegorz Puda, Deputy Mirosława Nykiel, Deputy Przemysław Koperski, the President of the Polish Electricians Association – Sławomir Cieślik, the Director of PTPiREE – Wojciech Tabiś, the President of the ŚlOIIB Council – Roman Karwowski, and Dariusz Mrzygłód – President of ZIAD Bielsko-Biała SA, the organizer of the fair.

During the opening ceremony, speeches emphasized the challenges facing the Polish energy sector, highlighting the urgent need for its transformation, the development of renewable energy sources, and the improvement of network flexibility, all while ensuring a stable energy supply and the security of critical infrastructure.

IMEFY: A Prominent Presence at ENERGETAB 2023

During the ENERGETAB 2023 fair, IMEFY had a notable presence. With a strong influence in the Polish energy market for over 13 years, IMEFY seized the opportunity to expand its knowledge of the current market situation and showcase the ECOTAP VPD system, load-break switch distribution transformers, which represent a true innovation and open new horizons not only in the electric supply industries but also in renewables.

In addition to exhibitor displays, the fair was accompanied by conferences and promotional presentations. Out of the 433 exhibitors, 47 came from 10 European countries, as well as from China and the United States, reflecting the global significance of ENERGETAB.

The fair attracted nearly 16,000 visitors interested in the latest advancements and products in the energy industry, underscoring the growing awareness of the need to transition the energy sector toward more sustainable sources of energy.

Celebrating 50 Years of IMEFY and Its Impact on the Polish Market

Furthermore, the fair served as a meeting place for IMEFY with its regular customers, where they could express gratitude for their cooperation and reflect on the 50th anniversary of the IMEFY group, highlighting its impact on the Polish market and its global reach.
