The spirit of competition was present in Los Yébenes during the XXXIII Carrera de San Blas, a renowned sporting event that marked the start of the patron saint festivities in the region. With the outstanding support of IMEFY and other collaborating companies, the race attracted almost 500 runners of all ages, who faced a challenging 6.4 km course that included the demanding ascent to the hermitage of San Blas.

The overall winner of the race, Jesús García Llorena of CDEA Tarancón, crossed the finish line with determination and speed, while in the women’s category, Ana Hernández, an independent athlete, demonstrated her skill and endurance, highlighting the sporting talent present in the community.
In addition to the excitement of the competition, the race also served as a bonding event for the community, with the participation of prominent local runners such as Guillermo Páramo Iglesias, Santiago Quintanero Díaz and Julia García-Calvo, who were greeted with cheers and applause from the crowd.
