IMEFY has kept the legacy of consulting engineer Gianluigi Sigaudi alive after his passing in July 2022. Since 2000, Sigaudi played a key role in training IMEFY’s technical staff and engineers in various areas related to the design, calculation, construction and testing of power transformers.
IMEFY continues Gianluigi Sigaudi’s work with study scholarships
Gianluigi Sigaudi shared his knowledge with passion and dedication during his collaboration with IMEFY. His sudden departure left a personal void, being remembered for his commitment and excellence in his field.
From his early days at Officine Nazionali di Savigliano to his consulting role in international power transformer manufacturing companies, Sigaudi demonstrated his extensive knowledge and dedication to the field.
In honor of his memory and the close relationship he maintained with the company, IMEFY’s management has decided to continue the scholarship program that Sigaudi carried out with the Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi. These scholarships, which aim to foster the academic development of outstanding students, will be awarded for three years in memory of Gianluigi Sigaudi.
First scholarship recipient
The first beneficiary of this initiative was Matteo Tedde, a second-year student of Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and a member of the Einaudi University College. Tedde, originally from Roccavione, has shown a deep interest and talent in the field of programming since his high school years, actively participating in computer science projects and competitions.
The presentation of the award to Matteo Tedde was an emotional moment, with the presence of Mrs. Ambrogina, widow of Gianluigi Sigaudi, who together with her sister participated in the ceremony. IMEFY is proud to contribute to the development of young talents like Tedde and is committed to continue honoring the memory of Gianluigi Sigaudi through this initiative.
IMEFY and Einaudi University College united for academic success
This collaboration between IMEFY, Einaudi University College and students like Matteo Tedde reflects the commitment of all parties involved in promoting academic excellence and personal growth, in line with the values left by Gianluigi Sigaudi.
