Imefy, a leading supplier of electrical equipment, has played a crucial role in the development of the BCP Tower, the new headquarters of Morocco’s leading bank, Banque Central Populaire (BCP), located in the heart of the CasablanctOa Finance City (CFC) financial district.
Key supplier in the development of the BCP Tower
The BCP Tower, designed by Rachid Andaloussi and Groupe3 Architectes, stands as an architectural landmark, with 27 floors and a height of 120 meters. This imposing 24,000-square-meter building stands out not only for its magnificence, but also for its innovative and functional design. Located in the dynamic new financial district, the tower reflects Morocco’s economic growth and modernization.
Imefy has been the key supplier of dry transformers used in the electrical infrastructure of the BCP Tower. These transformers play a key role in ensuring an efficient and reliable power supply for the daily operation of the Banque Central Populaire headquarters.
The distinctive architectural design of the BCP Tower highlights attention to detail and innovation. The north façade features an impressive glazed curtain wall, which not only adds a modern aesthetic, but also allows an abundance of natural light to enter, creating a bright interior environment.
On the other hand, the south façade features white concrete panels that mimic the form and function of traditional screens, playing an essential role in reflecting sunlight and naturally cooling the building. This sustainable approach demonstrates BCP Tower’s commitment to energy efficiency and harmony with the environment.
The inauguration of the BCP Tower marks a significant chapter in Morocco’s architectural and financial landscape, consolidating Casablanca Finance City’s position as an epicenter of economic activity in the region. Imefy is proud to have contributed to the success of this landmark project and remains committed to excellence in providing innovative electrical solutions for major projects around the world.
