Economía 3 recognises the company, based in the province of Toledo, as one of the most solvent entities in Spain. Thanks to the data provided by Infocif, a ranking of the 1000 most solvent companies in our country is drawn up.
After 49 years of experience in the manufacture of transformers in IMEFY we have achieved great milestones thanks to the fact that we have the most advanced means at the level of Engineering and Manufacturing, as well as a highly qualified team. This has allowed us to grow not only on the national scene but also to position ourselves as an international competitor.
Today, the media Economía 3, based on data provided by its supplier Infocif, places IMEFY among the 1000 most solvent companies in Spain. We are ranked 284th in the ranking of companies that have managed to meet their financial payment obligations during the 2020 financial year, the subject of this study.
Solvency and viability
The term solvency is, without a doubt, an adjective that arouses positivity in any area of life. But when we refer to a company, this characteristic reflects its good performance.
But how can we define or determine the solvency of companies?
There are two ways of measuring it. The first, solvency itself, is based on the division between total assets and total liabilities. It thus determines the entity’s ability to meet its debts. The second method focuses on liquidity or short-term solvency, where the focus is on current assets versus current debt. In other words, whether the company meets its payment commitments within a period of less than one year. Both metrics therefore point to an entity’s ability to meet its payment commitments.
IMEFY: a resilient and secure institution
The results speak for themselves. In 2020, not only did we manage to increase our solvency ratio, but our turnover also increased during the same year.
