The IEn Institute of Power Engineering, as part of product certification by the Polish Center for Accreditation, once again examined the parameters of Imefy transformers. We have received two new certificates for dry and oil transformers intended for installation in MV / LV power networks. The certificates confirm the compliance of our transformers with the PN-EN 60076-11: 2019 standards in the field of type tests and product tests and PN-EN 50588-1: 2018-03 in terms of the permissible values of no-load losses, load losses and acoustic power pursuant to the Commission Regulation European Union No. 2019/1783 of October 1, 2019 amending Regulation No. 548/2014 of May 21, 2014 with regard to low, medium and high power transformers.

The Institute of Power Engineering – Research Institute (IEn) is one of the largest institutes in Poland conducting research in the field of energy technologies. The Institute is a modern research and implementation center subordinate to the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

The activity of the Institute covers a wide area of energy research: from expert work for the power sector, to the most advanced future energy generation technologies, such as fuel cells, clean coal technologies and renewable energy sources. The advantage of the Institute is an experienced scientific, engineering and technical staff as well as a modern, often unique laboratory base. The Institute is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Energy Research Alliance EERA and participates in the implementation of numerous international research projects of the European Union. The mission of the Institute of Power Engineering is the development of innovative technologies leading to the creation of a sustainable and safe energy system.

Imefy, obtaining continuity of its certification, can implement further energy projects in Poland.
