IMEFY, selected as one of Spain’s 500 leading growth companies: heading to the CEPYME500 2026 gala

The Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (CEPYME) has officially informed IMEFY of its selection for the CEPYME500 2026 ranking. This recognition honours Spanish companies that have excelled in terms of turnover, sustained growth, size and profitability over the last financial year.

With this inclusion, IMEFY joins the group of 500 companies leading business growth in Spain. This is an initiative that CEPYME has been promoting for the tenth consecutive year to identify, select and highlight the work of the country’s most dynamic SMEs.

An accolade that underpins the company’s track record

For IMEFY, a transformer manufacturer with a history spanning more than fifty years, this milestone comes at a time of constant expansion and confirms the strength of its industrial model.

Founded in 1973 in Los Yébenes (Toledo) as a family-run business specialising in the manufacture of transformers, IMEFY has evolved into an international group with a presence in Spain, Italy, Poland and China. Today, the group employs nearly 300 professionals spread across its various offices in Spain, Italy, Poland and China.

Being included in the ranking also means that the company is featured in the yearbook published by CEPYME, which sets out its key data, history, achievements and future projects, and is distributed to key players in the national and international economic spheres.

Official event at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace

The formal presentation of the award will take place during the official ceremony to announce the 500 selected companies. The gala will be held on Wednesday 30 September, in the afternoon, at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace (Plaza de la Lealtad, no. 1).

During the event, company representatives will receive the certificate accrediting IMEFY as a CEPYME500 2026 company. The event will provide an opportunity to share experiences with other leading growth-oriented firms, highlighting decades of industrial endeavour in a sector as demanding as transformer manufacturing and consolidating IMEFY’s steady progress towards its next challenges.
