IMEFY achieves the Silver Sponsor certification by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health Foundation, hereinafter ISGLOBAL, for its commitment and support to the Child Vaccination Alliance 2022.
At IMEFY, aware of the reality of disease and fear faced by thousands of children in the poorest countries on the planet, we wanted to join the mission of joining forces for global health.
The Child Vaccine Alliance was created in 2008 by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the “la Caixa” Foundation, in collaboration with ISGlobal, to fight against child mortality in the world’s poorest countries.
Contributing to a better world
Now is the time to help and promote social responsibility together with associations and organisations to create a better world. In particular, we show our support for children, the most vulnerable sector of this society, where thousands of people live in a daily emergency, subjected to diseases and without the right to health care.
Thus, in order to cooperate in the vaccination of children, we have made a donation of 1,000 euros. This gesture of solidarity and commitment to society will allow the company to benefit from a deduction in this year’s corporate tax or income tax.
Thanks to our collaboration in this Alliance for Child Vaccination and to the more than 400,000 donors between Companies, Customers, Employees and Micro-donations, we have managed to reach a total of nearly 40 million euros, which have contributed to vaccinate nearly 8 million children in 10 countries in Latin Africa.
Our social commitment to child vaccination
IMEFY, a family company with 47 years of experience in the manufacturing of transformers immersed in dielectric liquids, encapsulated in epoxy resin and power transformers, has once again decided to support organisations capable of taking action on the ground. We believe that every gesture of solidarity actively contributes to our social responsibility and, above all, represents a further step towards improving the living situation of those most in need.
