On April 11, the first edition of the PV Seminar on Transformer Selection for Photovoltaic Power Plants, organized by IMEFY Polska, was held at the Crowne Hotel in Warsaw. During this event, experts from the energy sector shared their extensive knowledge based on many experiences with the participants.

This was the PV Seminar organized by IMEFY POLSKA

Four lectures were given during the seminar:

  1. “Selection and Protection of Transformers for Photovoltaic Power Plants” and “Risk Management of Transformer Failure in Photovoltaic Power Plants”, presented by Mirosław Schwann from KENTIA consultancy.
  2. “Advice and Monitoring on the Efficiency of Photovoltaic Power Plants”, by Robert Masiąg of DORATECH, who monitors the situation in Polish PV power plants.
  3. “Liability for Defects as Contractual Risk in the Implementation of Photovoltaic Projects”, presented by the law firm BES-LAW, with sponsors Bartosz Wilk and Bartłomiej Kuraś.

After each speech, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss together. The topic aroused great interest. The selection of transformers is a complex issue, and the invited experts pointed out to those present the issues to which attention should be paid and which, in their opinion, are often omitted or insufficiently analyzed at the design stage.

The IMEFY POLSKA team would like to thank the experts and participants for attending the PV Seminar.
