IMEFY, with the aim of raising the quality level of its manufactured products and providing a safe working environment for all its workers, recognizes the importance that continuous improvement in the management and performance of OSH has a direct impact on productivity, on health and in the working environment. This commitment is based on the implementation and progression of its Occupational Safety Management System based on the regulatory requirements of the OHSAS 18001 standard, with a purpose: To be a socially responsible organization in health and safety issues in the job. We also commit ourselves to the dissemination and knowledge among workers, making available to all interested parties, making all necessary revisions and maintaining an optimum degree of achievement.

This Occupational Risk Prevention Policy is based on the following “Principles“:

  • Ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment by committing to integrate, in business management, the prevention of occupational hazards, assuming responsibility, assigning the necessary human and material resources for prevention, as well as adopting the necessary measures, both organizational and Training and information.
  • Provide workers with effective protection in occupational safety and health, by controlling the inherent risks to each task and the organization, allowing a better integral development.
  • Comply with the legislation and regulations on occupational safety and health prevention, as well as with other requirements that IMEFY subscribes in all its processes.
  • Manage, in each of the areas of the company, the risks arising from its activity.
  • Implement a management system that allows the identification and prevention of risks, supported and periodically reviewed by Management.
  • Include all those risks arising from new technologies, forms of work organization and new technical advances in this area.
  • Train and inform all personnel about occupational risks.

  • Firm commitment to prevent damage and deterioration of health, and to continually improve OSH management and its performance.

  • Involve in this Policy to each and every one of the workers who serve in the entity, demonstrating full awareness and collaboration within the business structure in terms of health and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring the compliance with the applicalbe regulations regarding occupational risk prevention.
